Happy Birthday Avery

Its hard to believe our little girl is already two! Growing up too quickly. We had her party a few days and boy was it a good one. 35 adults and 10 kids under 3 years of age. We need a bigger house!
Dad made another great cake. A 3D horse cake. I don't have a picture of the completed project so will need to get one off someone. Thanks to everyone who came to celebrate. This is Avery opening up her numerous gifts. Spoiled!

You can kind of see the master work of Dad.

All the kids!

This is Avery's excited face.

I think Avery spends a little too much time with her Dad in the bathroom!

Opening presents from Auntie Candice

She could not wait until her birthday so we opened Auntie Candice's presents right when they arrived.
Her new hair straightner. Too bad her baby does not have hair. She pretended anyways.

Her very own Calculator (awesome).
Oh and big thanks Candice for the finger paints!! Avery loves them of course and wants to play with them at least once a day. Not my favorite gift out of the bunch.

Better late then never

Avery finally decided she wanted to try on her Halloween costume and then insisted Dad take about 100 photos of her. Since this day she has worn it a couple times and even out when we went to a friends house to watch the football game. She is at the stage where she wants to pick out her clothes, dress herself, bath herself......
She even decides when she needs a timeout. The other day she was getting grumpy and started throwing her food (yes the she has moments of terrible two's which I joke and say it is the start of the terrible 16 year), anyways, she after she stopped she came up to me and said "Avery needs a timeout. I go to room and knock on door when better". I said "okay, sweet". She did this again yesterday when she was being bossy (yes bossy, not sure where she would ever get this from, must be her dad). She said "I come out when not so rude". She then goes to her room and comes out a little later and says "Avery so happy". And she is. It is amazing she comes out as a totally different happy girl. I bet all parents are so jelous!
She also decided it was time she wear panties. We will see how this goes. She insisted that she not wear a diaper so maybe that is a good sign. I cannot believe that she is going to be two in 10 days. If you ask her what she wants for her birthday she will tell you "bear toothpaste". Her toothpaste container has a bear on it and she brushes her teeth about 4 times a day.

Halloween

What a great smile!

Well prior to Halloween we would ask Avery "what do you want to be for Halloween" she would say "a princess". So we got her a princess costume. She told us that Carter should be Tigger. I knew in my head that once Avery saw Carter in the tigger costume that she would want to be Tigger. So we borrowed the Yoda costume from Bree and Preston as a back up. Thank goodness we did. Avery managed to squeeze into Tigger (the head piece did not fit).

All About Carter

Well Carter is just over 3 months old now and is growing more everyday. He is 17lbs, 24 inches long and I swear he said "moma" the other day! lol
Dad always has to get a picture of his kids watching some sort of special ball game. So on game 6 of the world series here is Carter in his ball outfit enjoying the game with dad.
